North Carolina is a great state to live in. I didn’t like it at all the day i moved here, I in fact hated it and cried – it didn’t look anything like i envisioned. After living here for 3 days, I realized how different and amazing this state really is. It isn’t happening like New York or Mumbai but the people down here are very friendly, kind and welcoming.
One of the best things about this state is that, we get to do so much with our little ones, this place is the BEST for families, specially with young ones. So many museums, parks and my favorite ones would be the FARMS!

This time we decided to go Berry picking, Ayrah has never gone berry picking before, this was her first time and boy did she have a blast!! We went to DJ’s Berry Patch in Apex, North Carolina. Dj’s Berry Patch offers Pre-Picked strawberries or Pick Your Own. They provide a bucket which you fill and take it with you.
I just had to show Ayrah once how to pick strawberries and she instantly became a pro! She had a great time and kept walking with her bucket, picking berries and getting excited. She did all the work and was very happy with her fully filled bucket in the end. It’s small activities like these which brights up our day. To see our little one enjoying to the fullest makes us so happy and worth it to be living at short distances from such great farms.

If you live in the Triangle/RTP area, i would highly recommend that you check out DJ’s Berry Patch in the future. They also have these products available, which are made from their farm’s fresh berries.
