Day 5 was one of the best days we had so far! We headed to Aspen in the morning to go see the Maroon Bells. Aspen in itself is so beautiful and the Maroon Bells is one of the world’s most beautiful places.
Cars are not allowed inside from 8am to 5pm but if you have a child under 2, they allow you to take the car inside. The ticket is $10 and the other cars which are not allowed inside are to be parked outside and a shuttle takes everyone from there directly to the Maroon Lake.
The peace and calm at the lake made me want to just stay there and spend time watching the mountain and the aqua green water. We spent few hours there and then left for the Glenwood Hot Springs in Glenwood Springs.
Glenwood Hot Springs pool is as long as two city blocks and surrounded by the mountains 😍 It is the best place to have a relaxing day with your family. They also have a therapy pool, a kiddie pool and two giant water slides. The pool is open for public! Infants under 2 are free. My little one had a blast and enjoyed alot in the hot springs and was sad to leave.
If you visit Colorado, don’t miss out on the hot springs. There are many hot springs around here so choose and go but experience it once. It is a unique experience.
